How it Works?
Anydomain.net is a very simple attempt to make life a bit easier for a few people. Often for internal networks it is necessary for people (Mum, Dad, Autie Mabel) to type in an IP address.
eg. the router at home might be.
http://192.168.1.1
or a machine you want to connect to play a game might be
http://192.168.1.23
Computer geeks eat and sleep these numbers but for everyone else its a bit scary and difficult to type (I find it a bit tedious myself).
Anynetwork.net give you a simple way to refer to these internal machines with a less scary looking name.
apple.anynetwork.net
or
server1.anynetwork.net
or
machine1.anynetwork.net
There is a simple domain name provided for all the main 192.168.1 addresses making it a little bit easier to use this stuff.
